Main Responsibilities:

  1. Follow requirements of automation projects; research and evaluate test automation tools.
  2. In automated test architects and under the leadership of Team Leader, assist with the development of test automation framework.
  3. Automated test and preliminary test execution according to given test cases.
  4. Follow project requirements to improve testing framework scripts and test code, and write using document.
  5. Maintain automation framework and automated test scripts.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Experience within software development and/or automation testing.

Main Responsibilities:

    1. Lead, coach and mentor a team, or teams, of software testers through the Software Development Life Cycle process and best practices.
      • Manage the software testing schedules.
      • Work with team to plan and execute projects.
      • Ensure and create, as needed, software testing processes, best practices and operations to ensure high quality, while keeping costs under control.
      • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
      • Manage and mentor performance of all team members.
      • Help testers resolve technical problems, track and approve vacation days for employees within the teams and monitor individual employee’s performance and relay this to upper management.
    2. Manage relationships and communication with business stakeholders/partners and other technology implementation groups.
      • Ensure that test plans are well-documented and communicated.
      • Provide sound decision making risks and mitigations, sensitive to the constraints and needs of the business.
    3. Set and drive technical vision and direction of the team(s).
      • Keep abreast of new technologies and how they might solve technical or business problems.
      • Identify, research and adopt new technologies and products when needed.
      • Collaborate with peers to ensure consistent use of technologies across the organization.
    4. Identify, minimize and mitigate risks around data/system security, stability, performance/scalability, and sustainability/maintainability.
    5. Provide options and recommendations on use of technology to meet business requirements.
    6. Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    7. Develop and execute software testing plans and manage software testing schedules, resource allocation, and budget.
    8. Track and report the status of projects on various teams; act as a gateway through which work should be assigned to appropriate teams while ensuring that project scope is adequately defined.
    9. Demonstrate leadership abilities to senior management team and clients.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years related working experience with strong software testing background, which includes 2+ years of project management experience.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline; Computer Science preferred.
  3. Proficient in using and installing multiple OS systems and databases.
  4. Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
  6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  8. Overseas work experience is a plus.

Key qualifications:

We are looking for a high caliber new business focused Business Development Manager to join our growing company and responsible for driving the growth of our QA and testing services by sourcing new accounts. Candidates must have “hunter” focused new business sales experience working with VP/C-level decision makers in accounts between 50 and 2000 employees. This position will be working from a home office with travel (upwards of 40%) to meet with clients when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess experience selling IT services engagements (non-vertical specific) and will have strong contacts.The successful candidate must be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to understand and sell software quality and software testing services.
  2. Demonstrate extensive experience in selling and closing technical services and solutions.
  3. Demonstrate compelling value propositions for our services with our clients.
  4. Engage directly with IT and C-level executives to understand their key challenges and develop and price solutions that fit their needs.
  5. Engage with the technical staff during the solution design phase to develop a technically viable solution, as well as utilize key delivery resources during the sell cycle to showcase XBO’s expertise and build client credibility for our services.
  6. Consistently deliver on assigned Revenue and Profit objectives.
  7. Candidate must have demonstrated communication skills (written/verbal).

Required

  • At least 3 years experience in demonstrating a successful track record of technical services sales, negotiations, communication and problem solving in fast-paced environment.
  • At least 3 years experience in IT professional services sales.
  • At least 3 years experience in Director and VP Level Relationship Building.
  • At least 3 years experience in closing skills.
  • Readiness to travel 40% travel annually.
  • English: Fluent, native preferred.
  • Experienced in selling IT Services in the DC Metro (familiar with the geographic area).
  • Successfully closed contracts in excess of $250K plus.
  • Established relationships with VP/C-Level decision makers.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years experience in sales of IT services to Fortune 2000.
  • At least 2 years experience in selling and understanding software quality solutions and software testing services.
  • Expertise: software quality assurance, software development, and software testing.
  • Experience within the following types of companies: Cognizant, Thoughtworks, Applabs, or any other IT services company.

Additional information

The position carries a base salary of $80K to $100K + (commensurate with experience) with target compensation of $150K in the first year, and is uncapped.
