Philip Lew

Philip Lew, CEO of XBOSoft, oversees strategy, operations, and business development since founding the Company in 2006. Jeade Kong

As General Manager at XBOSoft, Jeade is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of XBO’s testing services as well as managing major accounts. Jeade has worked at XBOSoft since 2008. She brings particular expertise in all aspects of test management, functional and regression testing, and has authored several white papers for XBOSoft. Jeade holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Beihang University in Beijing and is also a master of traditional Chinese dance.

Jessica Bernstein

Jessica Bernstein is a results-driven leader with more than 16 years of experience in traditional and digital sales & marketing for multinational corporations. She has successfully built and implemented digital strategies and is able to bring together different teams to achieve common goals. She’s successfully led teams in traditional marketing as well as supported and led adaptation to digital sales & marketing strategies and techniques.

Jessica is passionate about the tech industry and loves to mix her experience in digital and traditional marketing with XBOSoft’s cutting-edge expertise in Quality Assurance and Software testing.

Ed CurranEd Curran, Technical Advisor, provides advice and oversight for XBOSoft’s engineering efforts, including establishment of access into new technologies as well as continued improvements within XBOSoft’s automated testing methods. Ed previously served as XBOSoft’s VP of Engineering and possesses over 25 years of technology experience. Ed started his career as a radar systems engineer for Singer Electronics Systems. In 1988, he moved into Motorola’s Cellular Infrastructure Group, where he later held positions of increasing responsibility within engineering, operations, sales, market development, and business development, including overseas assignments in Hong Kong and Singapore. Ed then served as Executive Director of Network Purchasing at Verizon Wireless where he and his team governed over $5B in annual spend. More recently, Ed served as CEO for Go2Group and Executive VP International Business Development at ISCO International, as well as headed educational software firm FlashDragon, LLC.

Ed earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the College of New Jersey and an MBA from the University of Hull, UK.

Alan Harbitter

Alan Harbitter joins XBOSoft’s Advisory board with over 30 years experience in IT services. In 1985, he co-founded an information technology services company, PEC Solutions Inc., and was jointly responsible for its growth to a publicly traded company with over 1700 employees. He served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of that company until its sale in 2005.

Dr. Harbitter received his Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in computer science from Cornell, the University of Maryland, and George Mason University (GMU), respectively. At GMU, his research concerned information security and, specifically, authentication in large and wireless networks.

Dr. Harbitter currently serves as the Board Treasurer of the Arc of Northern Virginia—an advocacy organization for the intellectually and developmentally disabled. He is also past board president and current board member of the Medical Care for Children Partnership (MCCP) Foundation. MCCP is a unique partnership between the Fairfax County government, the medical community, and private contributors to provide health care for the children of working poor families in Fairfax County, VA.

John Smith

John Smith joins XBOSoft’s Advisory Board as a builder of world-class software businesses with more than three decades of experience and proven results in the IT Management industry building high performing organizations and high growth businesses. John served as General Manager & SVP, Enterprise Management Business Unit at CA Technologies, where he was responsible for the infrastructure management and application management portfolio of products. Prior to joining CA Technologies, John led product development at Nimsoft.

He previously spent several years at HP as a member of the management team that established the OpenView business and was instrumental in streamlining the product delivery lifecycle and bringing new products to market. At Agilent Technologies, a spinoff of HP, he founded and was co-general manager of the company’s internet service management business. He also founded leading business service management firm Indicative Software Inc.

John earned a BS in Computer Science at Colorado State University, where he also received his MBA.
